TBR Book Lineup Sticker: Waterproof Laptop Decal Ideas

Quick answer

The TBR Book Lineup Sticker from HappyPlanGirls Designs is a durable, waterproof vinyl decal perfect for laptops, water bottles, and planners. Follow these steps to apply it smoothly and make it last.

How to apply your TBR Book Lineup Sticker

1. Clean the surface thoroughly: Wipe the area with a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol to remove oils and dust. Let it dry completely. Skipping this step can cause bubbles or poor adhesion, especially on textured laptop lids.
2. Peel and position carefully: Starting from one corner, slowly peel the sticker from its backing. Hold it above the surface and align it before letting any part touch. Once the vinyl contacts the surface, repositioning is difficult. Use a hinge method with tape if you need extra precision.
3. Smooth from center outward: Use a credit card or squeegee to press the sticker down, working from the middle toward the edges. Apply firm, even pressure. Rushing this step can trap air bubbles. If you see a bubble, lift the nearest edge and re-smooth.
4. Wait before exposing to water: Let the sticker set for at least 24 hours before washing the item or submerging it. The adhesive needs time to bond fully. Applying the sticker to a water bottle you plan to use immediately may cause edges to lift.
